Shannon Fabin

Director of Development

Biography

Mrs. Shannon Fabin is delighted to be a part of the GCA team again this year. She loves to teach students, not only from an academic curriculum but also from the Word of God. She has always known that children would be a part of the work God had for her.

Mrs. Fabin earned her B.S. in Elementary Education, Sociology & Christian Ministries from Grove City College. She taught second grade at Grace Covenant Academy from 2003-2005, until a job change took the Fabin family to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. During her time in Virginia, Mrs. Fabin served as a Director of Children’s Ministry, overseeing birth-fifth grade ministries at her local church. In 2013 the Fabin family moved back to the Lake Norman area and Mrs. Fabin returned to GCA. Mrs. Fabin and her husband Matt, along with Jack (fifth grade), Brady (third grade) and new baby Ella Ruth are so thankful to live in the LKN area.

Why GCA?

As one of the original staff members as GCA was created, Mrs. Fabin had an inside look at the foundation of GCA. She knew then that this school would be something amazing. She considers it a high honor and privilege to be able to not only teach and instruct children in important academic areas, but more importantly, to be able to partner with parents to create a strong foundation of faith. There is no where else she would rather be and no other work she considers more important that what she is doing now!
