Early Education

The Early Education program at Grace Covenant Academy offers students a fun, safe learning environment where they can grow spiritually, mentally, socially, and emotionally.

We provide learning opportunities for our students to grow in their knowledge of God and His world, while developing academic skills essential during the toddler years. Christ is the center of our program, and we provide opportunities for our students to develop a love for God. For that reason, all Early Education classes participate in weekly Chapel with the Elementary students.

In addition, we build indoor and outdoor free-play into our daily schedule. We believe this provides students an opportunity to establish social skills by encouraging cooperation, sharing and sensitivity to others.

All Early Education class times are 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Students will have lunch at school before dismissal.

On a weekly basis, our three year-olds are given the opportunity to grow in language and early math skills through our carefully selected curriculum. Social development is a majority of the goal with our three year olds and the program reflects that intent.

Children must be three years of age before August 31 and must be potty-trained to qualify for any of our Three-Year-Old classes. All Three-Year-Old classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Pre-Kindergarten classes are for students who are 4 or 5 years of age. We offer three, four, or five day class options for our students. Each week Pre-K students focus on a particular letter of the alphabet in order to explore the areas of language, music, art, listening, observation and experimentation, selected Bible characters and stories, character traits, and games.
