Lori Covington

Second Grade Teacher


Ms. Lori Covington grew up in Kingman, Arizona.  She began assisting her mother in teaching Kindergarten at a young age. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1992.  She has taught grades Pre-school through Eighth Grade and has worked in public, private, and charter schools with diverse economic, cultural and demographic backgrounds. Teaching is Ms. Covington’s true passion and calling as a career.  She is a very enthusiastic inspirational coach with an evangelical outlook on life.  Her number one teaching goal is to help students instill a love for learning while honoring God and connecting with others in a nurturing way.  Ms. Covington is an outgoing person.  She loves to meet new people and discover commonalities and new customs.  She has three children, a cat, and a dog.

Why GCA?

Ms. Covington finds teaching in a Christian atmosphere to be very fulfilling.  She enjoys celebrating her relationship with God and being in an environment that allows her to express her angelic nature.  It is where she feels most  at home.
